    Course Overview
    This hands-on, practical, interactive course focuses on how to efficiently meet the needs of the growing diversity of learners in today's classrooms. Participants will investigate the essential principles and benefits of high quality differentiation; articulate techniques for differentiating content, process, and product based on student readiness, interest, and learning profile; evaluate the role of ongoing assessment in successful differentiation; analyze examples of differentiated activities; describe and implement key instructional strategies and explore effective classroom management. Course participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own classroom practices and viewpoints regarding differentiation as we move toward even more responsive teaching.
